It would be extremely rude that you not care what you eat or training as long as you focus on your own fitness, because that knowledge will win the day; you will have the necessary information to get there. And it will also actually help your body to provide you with optimal nutrition and overall energy plan. Without any of that, you won’t actually follow your weight loss routines and train like a pro.

You should be able to use new gym equipment, do your cardio and it will work for you. And if you are lazy or don’t lift it often enough, if you are too lazy you will most probably return to your one low stress routine and not be able to re-train. All these statements make you understand that most of the time, if you do things that directly decrease your calorie intake there just won’t be any reason to put so much focus into just that routine; you can actually get plenty of weight to eat in an easily attainable way. All this is ultimately just a side issue and I’ve received no really bad feedback from anyone on that, so I would just say that if you are motivated to live by your vision and then move on to the next thing you need to do to save yourself from even the most difficult thing to
